Reviews and Ratings
I stayed for four nights, and overall, it was a good experience. The room was spacious and well-furnished, making it quite comfortable, even if the bed was a bit firmer than I prefer. The bathroom design was unique, but it might not suit everyone's taste. Breakfast was just average, although the coffee was pretty decent for a hotel. For $64 a night, I felt it was reasonable value, but there’s certainly room for improvement with the dining options.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the cleanliness and comfort of the room were commendable, the services were lacking, and the dining options were below expectations. I appreciated the beautiful lobby and decent room quality, but some facilities, like the carpets, need serious attention.
The Grand Oriental Hotel has a striking lobby that makes a grand statement right from the entrance. While the rooms are spacious and comfortable with good internet, there are notable downsides such as the cleanliness of the carpets and inconsistent service quality, particularly during meals. The dining options are more suited to Eastern tastes and may leave Western guests wanting more variety. Overall, it offers a decent value for its caliber, but there are improvements that need to be made.
I had quite a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and nicely furnished, but the cleanliness of certain areas, like the carpets, left a lot to be desired. Service was generally pleasant, although communication could be a challenge at times. The breakfast options were better suited for those who prefer Eastern cuisine, while Western options were quite average. Overall, it's decent value for money, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.
I stayed at the Royal Hotel, formerly known as the Grand Oriental Hotel, and I must say that the changes over the past couple of years are somewhat disappointing. While the rooms are spacious and comfortable, many amenities that used to be available have been reduced. The dining options could use improvement, especially for breakfast. Overall, it’s decent, but not ideal if you're looking for a more luxurious experience.
